Every year Dean Kamen, Inventor of FIRST, chanllenges all the FIRST teams to complete his homework assignment.

This year's homework objective: is to spread the word of FIRST through publicity and the media.

Ways to complete this assignment:

• Submit photos to the Democrat and Chronicle

• Create fun promotional videos showing how FIRST has enriched our lives and post them on sites such as youtube.com

• Create an article and post it in your school's newspaper or another local newpaper

• Start a Spirit week at you school, this way people notice you and know you're a FIRST student

• Upload photos and videos onto social networks such as Facebook
