The Name

KG-3 is the robot we have for the 2006 competition. KG standads for Kate Gleason, who was the first women engineer to be inducted into the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Awards

Winner of The Finger Lakes Regional,
General Motors Industrial Design Award

Our robot was built to withstand robots crashing into it, people throwing balls at it, and even category 5 hurricanes. Overall teams choosing 578 as a member of their alliance will find that our robot not only looks like a tank but it is as strong as a tank.
