The Goals For FIRST are:

1. To build a successful, student-driven team by assembling a group that can respect each other’s opinions, form consensus, and work together.
2. The TEAM recognizes and capitalizes on the unique abilities of each member of the team.
3. To design and build a robot from a standard set of raw materials.
4. Provide students with experience with the diverse aspects as financing the project, coordinating logistics, arranging press coverage for our team, and documenting the impact our team has made in the Fairport community.
5. Modeling, developing and portraying “gracious professionalism” under all circumstances.
